Perforated materials allow flexibility even for your atypical ideas. That was also the case of the construction of the four-storey multifunctional building NIKOLA HOUSE in Bratislava where are 30 apartments and 3 commercial areas.

NIKOLA HOUSE is situated in a lucrative location of the capital, so the client's request was clear. The exterior must immediately attract the attention and be different as well. And just for a team of architects led by Ing. Arch. Juraj Závodný, the choice of how to achieve the accent of uniqueness was clear.

It was the sun protection panels which became the main expressional element on the building facade. The architects together with our experts, chose shielding panels made of aluminium expanded metal with a diamond mesh MR 200x72x22x3 mm for this building.

The sun protection panels themselves used in the construction are of various sizes and colours. Although at first glance they appear unevenly scattered across the facades of the loggias, everything has a logical structure and practical significance. So sun protection panels not only look spectacular, but they also function well.

Their great resistance to wind can be considered a huge benefit. They still have no competition from this point of view. In addition, you can fix them on the already finished facade at any time.

It is their colour that adds playfulness, liveliness and distinction to the building.

Also thanks to us, this multifunctional building became an architectural - artistic expression of the present days, which does not lack modern and timeless design.

Just like in life, it works in the same way with buildings. You will either fall in love immediately or not at all. But one thing is certain. You will definitely look back at something unusual and this project is a clear proof of that.
